FLASHBACK: HILLARY CLINTON FIRED FROM WATERGATE INVESTIGATION FOR FOR 'LYING, UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR'

The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the Hou...se Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary's history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy's chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman's 17-year career.

Why?

"Because she was a liar," Zeifman said in an interview last week. "She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality."

How could a 27-year-old House staff member do all that? She couldn't do it by herself, but Zeifman said she was one of several individuals – including Marshall, special counsel John Doar and senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – who engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation.

Why would they want to do that? Because, according to Zeifman, they feared putting Watergate break-in mastermind E. Howard Hunt on the stand to be cross-examined by counsel to the president. Hunt, Zeifman said, had the goods on nefarious activities in the Kennedy Administration that would have made Watergate look like a day at the beach – including Kennedy's purported complicity in the attempted assassination of Fidel Castro.

The actions of Hillary and her cohorts went directly against the judgment of top Democrats, up to and including then-House Majority Leader Tip O'Neill, that Nixon clearly had the right to counsel. Zeifman says that Hillary, along with Marshall, Nussbaum and Doar, was determined to gain enough votes on the Judiciary Committee to change House rules and deny counsel to Nixon. And in order to pull this off, Zeifman says Hillary wrote a fraudulent legal brief, and confiscated public documents to hide her deception.

The brief involved precedent for representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding. When Hillary endeavored to write a legal brief arguing there is no right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding, Zeifman says, he told Hillary about the case of Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas, who faced an impeachment attempt in 1970.

"As soon as the impeachment resolutions were introduced by (then-House Minority Leader Gerald) Ford, and they were referred to the House Judiciary Committee, the first thing Douglas did was hire himself a lawyer," Zeifman said.

The Judiciary Committee allowed Douglas to keep counsel, thus establishing the precedent. Zeifman says he told Hillary that all the documents establishing this fact were in the Judiciary Committee's public files. So what did Hillary do?

"Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public," Zeifman said. Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding – as if the Douglas case had never occurred.

The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.

Re: warming debunked: NASA report verifies carbon dioxide actually cools atmosphere

Barbara Boxer blames global warming for Oklahoma tornado, calls for carbon tax

On Tuesday, Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., blamed global warming for the tornado that struck Oklahoma, and called for a carbon tax in a speech on the Senate floor, The Daily Caller reported.

"This is climate change. We were warned about extreme weather: Not just hot weather, but extreme weather. When I had my hearings, when I had the gavel years ago — it's been a while — the scientists all agreed that what we'd start to see was extreme weather," she said, despite reports that global warming stopped in 1998.

"Carbon could cost us the planet," she added. "The least we could do is put a little charge on it so people move to clean energy."

"You're going to have tornadoes and all the rest. We need to protect our people," Boxer said, without explaining how an additional tax would end severe weather.

"That's our No. 1 obligation and we have to deal with this threat that is upon us and that is gonna get worse and worse through the years," she added.

Boxer is not the only Democrat to blame the tornado on global warming.

On Monday, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., railed against Republicans in a 15-minute speech blaming so-called "global warming deniers" and "polluters" for the giant twister.

But how would a tax on carbon mitigate weather patterns?

Michael Batacsh said that a bill introduced by Boxer and co-sponsored by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders would "put a gradually rising fee on carbon dioxide emissions to fund green-energy projects such as wind, solar, geothermal and biomass."

The bill was introduced after Obama "threatened to use his executive authority to address global warming if Congress failed to act," Batasch added.

But given the government's track record with alternative energy, it is highly doubtful the tax would work, and there is little to no evidence to suggest such a tax would stop tornadoes.

"The dismal record of the U.S. government in implementing efficient climate change policies is hardly evidence in favor of a massive new carbon tax (or cap-and-trade program)," said Robert Murphy, a senior economist for the Institute for Energy Research.

"[S]uch a new program will be abused in the political process, and will not be tailored to the recommendations of climate scientists and environmental economists," he added.

His analysis also found that unilateral action by the government "cannot significantly slow global carbon dioxide emissions."

The Obama Crony in Charge of your Medical Records

http://cnsnews.com/blog/michelle-malkin/obama-crony-charge-your-medical-records

The Obama Crony in Charge of your Medical Records

May 22, 2013

By Michelle Malkin

Who is Judy Faulkner? Chances are, you don't know her — but her politically connected, taxpayer-subsidized electronic medical records company may very well know you. Top Obama donor and billionaire Faulkner is founder and CEO of Epic Systems, which will soon store almost half of all Americans' health information.

If the crony odor and the potential for abuse that this "epic" arrangement poses don't chill your bones, you ain't paying attention.

As I first noted last year before the IRS witch hunts and DOJ journalist snooping scandals broke out, Obama's federal electronic medical records (EMR) mandate is government malpractice at work. The stimulus law provided a whopping $19 billion in "incentives" (read: subsidies) to force hospitals and medical professionals into converting from paper to electronic record-keeping systems. Penalties kick in next year for any provider who fails to comply with the one-size-fits-all edict.

Obamacare bureaucrats claimed the government's EMR mandate would save money and modernize health care. As of December 2012, $4 billion had already gone out to 82,535 professionals and 1,474 hospitals; a total of $6 billion will be doled out by 2016. What have taxpayers and health care consumers received in return from this boondoggle? After hyping the alleged benefits for nearly a decade, the RAND Corporation finally admitted in January that its cost-savings predictions of $81 billion a year — used repeatedly to support the Obama EMR mandate — were, um, grossly overstated.

Among many factors, the researchers blamed "lack of interoperability" of records systems for the failure to bring down costs. And that is a funny thing, because it brings us right back to Faulkner and her well-connected company. You see, Epic Systems — the dominant EMR giant in America — is notorious for its lack of interoperability. Faulkner's closed-end system represents antiquated, hard drive-dependent software firms that refuse to share data with doctors and hospitals using alternative platforms. Health IT analyst John Moore of Chilmark Research, echoing many industry observers, wrote in April that Epic "will ultimately hinder health care organizations' ability to rapidly innovate."

Question: If these subsidized data-sharing systems aren't built to share data to improve health outcomes, why exactly are we subsidizing them? And what exactly are companies like Faulkner's doing with this enhanced power to consolidate and control Americans' private health information? It's a recipe for exactly the kind of abuse that's at the heart of the IRS and DOJ scandals.

As I reported previously, a little-noticed HHS Inspector General's report issued last fall exposed how no one is actually verifying whether the transition from paper to electronic is improving patient outcomes and health services. No one is actually guarding against GIGO (garbage in, garbage out). No one is checking whether recipients of the EMR incentives are receiving money redundantly (e.g., raking in payments when they've already converted to electronic records). And no one is actually protecting private data from fraud, theft or exploitation.

But while health IT experts and concerned citizens balk, money talks. Epic employees donated nearly $1 million to political parties and candidates between 1995 and 2012 — 82 percent of it to Democrats. The company's top 10 PAC recipients are all Democratic or left-wing outfits, from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (nearly $230,000) to the DNC Services Corporation (nearly $175,000) and the America's Families First Action Fund Democratic super-PAC ($150,000). The New York Times reported in February that Epic and other large firms spent hundreds of thousands of dollars lobbying for the Obama EMR "giveaway."

Brandon Glenn of Medical Economics observes "it's not a coincidence" that Epic's sales "have been skyrocketing in recent years, up to $1.2 billion in 2011, double what they were four years prior."

It's also no coincidence, as a famous Democratic presidential candidate once railed, that the deepest-pocketed donors "are often granted the greatest access, and access is power in Washington." That same candidate, Barack Obama, named billionaire Democratic donor Faulkner as the only industry representative on the federal panel overseeing the $19 billion EMR "incentives" program from which her company benefits grandly.

The foxes are guarding the Obamacare henhouse. The IRS vultures are circling overhead. The shadow of tyranny and the stench of corruption are unmistakable. If you see something, say something. BOLO is our watchword.

[The_Forum_] Bible Teaching on Global Warming

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: lpletten
Date: Wednesday, May 22, 2013

The Bible teaches global warming.  There is no controversy, it's an absolute emphatic firm teaching, not to be denied.  This teaching is found in, e.g., Revelation 8:7-11, 16:3-4, and 8-9, and Joel 1:17-20 (predictions of environmental devastation and scorching heat).

This is caused by the "destroyers of the earth," Revelation 11:18, businessmen in particular, Revelation 18.   Said "destroyers of the earth" will initially kill a third of the sea creatures, Revelation 8:8-9, then all of them, Revelation 16:3.

Charles Caldwell Ryrie, Th.D., Ph.D., in The Ryrie Study Bible (Chicago: Moody Bible Institue, 1976) agrees, see, e.g., his analysis of Revelation 8:11: "This plague will make a third part of the fresh water supply of earth unfit for human consumption," until reaching 100% unfit in Rev. 16:3 .

The Bible continues by teaching that the destroying includes the foreseen killing of almost all of mankind. Jeremiah 25:33, Revelation 6:8 (25% killed leaving 75% left), Revelation 9:15 (33% killed leaving 42% left), Revelation 9:18 (33% killed leaving 9% left), and Matthew 24:22 (the remaining 9%, "few people left" (Isaiah 24:3, 6).

The Bible warns against deniers, in, e.g.,  2 Peter 3:4, referencing the false claim that all things continue as before, thus denying the Bible on subjects including but not limited to this. Deniers cite for example, an early writing, Genesis 8:22, to refute that subsequent writing, 2 Peter 3:4!! Such deniers are an example of false religionists warned against in, e.g.,  2 Corinthians 11:13-15.) For an example of such deniers, see, e.g., Elizabeth Kolbert, "Uncomfortable Climate" (The New Yorker, 22 November 2010), "House Republicans and their Tea Party are not content to ignore the science of global warming. Now they have decided to go after the scientists…"

Such people are militant anti-Bible types warned against in the Bible.

warming debunked: NASA report verifies carbon dioxide actually cools atmosphere

----

Britannia Radio

Wednesday, 22 May 2013

Wednesday, 22 May 2013 09:00
'Practically everything you have been told by the mainstream scientific community and the media about the alleged detriments of greenhouse gases, and particularly carbon dioxide, appears to be false, according to new data compiled by NASA's Langley Research Center. As it turns out, all those atmospheric greenhouse gases that Al Gore and all the other global warming hoaxers have long claimed are overheating and destroying our planet are actually cooling it, based on the latest evidence.

As reported by Principia Scientific International (PSI), Martin Mlynczak and his colleagues over at NASA tracked infrared emissions from the earth's upper atmosphere during and following a recent solar storm that took place between March 8-10. What they found was that the vast majority of energy released from the sun during this immense coronal mass ejection (CME) was reflected back up into space rather than deposited into earth's lower atmosphere.'

Obama, Stay Out of Oklahoma

Obama, Stay Out of Oklahoma!
David Yeagley, BadEagle.com

The devastating tornadoes that hit the suburbs of Oklahoma City have received 24/7 coverage from all media, local and national. There is no other news. It appears that the monstrous tragedy of May 19th and 20th, 2013, is drowning out all other concerns, even national concerns. The Benghazi murders, the illegal IRS tyranny, the DOJ seizure of AP records–all this is suddenly behind the scenes now–just where the Democrats want it. Out of the picture.

Official compassion. Obama prepares to take advantage of the tornado crisis in Oklahoma.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste," is the principle of Democrat leaders Rahm Emanuel and Hillary Clinton.

This is why media seems mesmerized by human suffering. The reporters become poets of grief, laureates of lamentation, competing for the most dramatic portrayal of the most agonizing story they can uncover.

Tragedy sells. Why?

Is it some strange penance? If you can show emotion, if you can feel compassion, that means you're righteous? Has this society become so Christ-less that tears alone measure our spirituality?

Complete annihilation in Moore, OK, by a terrible tornado.

Obama certainly knows how to use such spirituality. After Hurricane Sandy, he was there at the New Jersey shore to scoop up all the emotion he could, through the media, and promised to redeem. He declared that all would be well. He would save all. But he didn't. Today, much of it the area is still a disaster zone, especially along Staten Island. The effects are profound. The Sandy Hook school shooting was another wonderful opportunity for the devious Democrat to parade his care, to advertise his compassion and to try to wreak more tyranny on America through gun-control.(Some critics even wonder if the whole incident was a staged hoax to begin with.) Obama didn't help anyone, or anything. It was all an empty show. Just more White House wind. [Dozens of irrifutable exposés on the Net demonstrated clearly that there was NO true emergency activity at the school itself. EMS personnel weren't allowed into the school. NOBODY was allowed inside the school. NO evidence EVER of evacuation of purported SIX HUNDRED students and staff from the building. NONE!  Selected group of four 'star' parent couples. No word from the 16 other parental couples about THEIR children. Peppy, upbeat, cheerful set-piece 'interviews' in upscale hotel settings with laughing, smiling 'grieving' parents - compare them with the parents of the now official NINE children who died in Moore, OK.......and so forth.]

So, let Mr. Obama keep his fake concerns. We have enough ill wind out this way. We don't need DC hot air in Oklahoma. We don't want him coming here and making empty promises. That is the same as lying. It is egregious and insulting. He lies most to those whom he most offends. Obama didn't carry a single county in Oklahoma, either election. There are Democrat agencies in the state who are campaigning hard for the Obama Democrat programs, particularly Obamacare. There are radio ads constantly on local stations–during conservative broadcasts, no less. Who's paying for that campaign?

Oklahoma people are strong. We don't need or want government help. We don't value dependency. Even though our state legislature is dominated by Republicans, and we have a Republican governor, Mary Fallin, yet we are still vulnerable to the temptation to accept government bribes–especially during a time of public crisis. This is the clear and present danger.

In the name of compassion, the Democrat dominance in DC will seek to gain more tyrannical control and to push their agenda. It's already started. Democrat senator from Rhode Island, Sheldon Whitehouse, is using the Oklahoma tornado to rant against Republican denial of global warming! Democrat senator from California, Barbara Boxer, is using Oklahoma tornado to push for the carbon tax–another agenda based on global warming.

Let's face it. It is a time of general mistrust of the American government. It is also a time of complete mistrust of professional media. Combined, these agencies which generate distrust are having an adverse effect on the people. A mass revolt, of some kind, must surely evolve. Thus, the government prepares to attack the people, condemning all forms of patriotism. The liberal, Democrat tyrannists know what they're doing. They know they are pushing it. They know timing is everything. They must bend everything in their favor, by law and by force, before the people rise up, so that the people cannot rise up.

Never expected typical Oklahoma tornado season would contribute to the Democrat agenda? Shows how naïve we really are, and how dangerous it is to trust.
