WatchDog.org A confidential training manual for Obamacare navigators that threatens prosecution for unauthorized dissemination is on the Internet for the world to see. The 217-page manual reads like a primer for Amway or novice car salesmen, offering sales advice on how to disarm potential customers who could be lured into purchasing insurance through exchanges created […]

ACT! For America Stops Anti-Christian Textbooks In Tennessee

by burkasrugly

Fellow infidels,

Are you ready for some good news in the struggle against Islamic fascism?  Then please read the INCREDIBLE story of what just a few concerned citizens can do when they stand up and question what is going on in the public school system.  These ACT! for America members have stopped this atrocity...for now.  However, the textbooks will be reviewed by each school district.  We MUST GET THIS INFORMATION OUT so good people can attend school board meetings, ARMED WITH KNOWLEDGE. Will you PLEASE spread the word on this? The ladies have a website  that you can access called Textbook Advocates that you can access HERE. Once you get to the website, across the top there are several tabs.  Click the one that says "Book reviews."  There you will find links to numerous textbook reviews by experts.  These book reviews are shocking. Does YOUR  child's school promote these pro-Islamic, pro-Marxist books to your children?- Burkasrugly

Five months ago an 11 year old sixth-grader came home from his middle school in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and told his parents he thought they should take a look at the "world religions" section of his new World History Book.

The parents looked, and had their world's rocked with the overwhelming amount of text dedicated to Islam not to mention the lack of attention given to Christianity and the sheer propaganda & indoctrination of Islamic content in that book.

Their concerns launched a series of historic events in Tennessee...After considerable research on the book with the help of Dr. Bill Warner, the Mom went on to take this on with the local school board.

Complaints to their school board were met anywhere from lip service responses, to ignoring requests for meetings all the way to the schools attorney trying to intimidate that Mom so she would not speak at a school board meeting! Not to be silenced the Mom went on to dig deeper and pull together a group of like-minded parents.

It just happens that this Mom is Lisa Moore who is the Communications Leader for the ACT! Chapter in Murfreesboro TN. Lisa has been on the frontlines in Murfreesboro in  the battle against Islam since she signed up to be one of the three original plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the building of a mega mosque in Murfreesboro. She was the only plaintiff to give testimony in those trials. Lisa had spent the past 3 years studying Islam through every resource she could find, and after reviewing the ACT! Textbook report she felt a further calling to address the Islamic issues from the perspective of the indoctrination of our children. It was about that time that her eleven year old son came home from school with that fateful World History Book. Not to be deterred by their local school board's lack of interest, Lisa pulled together a small group of patriots to start working on this issue at a state level. Lisa was joined by Jackie Archer, one of the local ACT! Chapter Co-leaders.

Together this dynamic duo formed a team to investigate further. Upon discovering that the Social Studies textbooks were coming up for adoption in the state these ACT! ladies began amassing a group of patriots from across the state to take on this battle at the state level before these new textbooks got into the classrooms.

During the entire month of August, against some pretty daunting roadblocks they brought this team of over 100 volunteers across TN together to review the 72 textbooks on the State list: Their findings were horrifying. Not only were the World History books riddled with ridiculous amounts of content on Islam, they were filled with inaccurate history and a white washing of Islam that would make the biggest Muslim public relations firm proud. There was much more though, the American History & Civics books were full of a blatant and downright scary liberal socialist agenda, and the psychology books contained inappropriate sexual content. Out of these books:

- 39% were declared as unacceptable for Tennessee classrooms, period

- 12% need major revisions to meet acceptable standards

- Many more need minor fixes

Through the months of July, August, September and October the group showed up at every Textbook Commission meeting and made well executed presentations and pleas to the Commissioners to educate them on what they were finding in these textbooks. Turns out the Commissioners as well as the panel of teacher reviewers were clueless.

When the Commissioners held their meeting to vote on the books, once again this team of patriots made impassioned pleas to the Commission to do the right thing and reject the books and make the publishers go back to the drawing board. THEY WERE HEARD…When the Director called for a vote and asked for a motion there was dead silence, he again asked for a motion to approve, once again…silence….the Commissioners did not even have a member that would make a motion, the books were not approved! It was a HUGE SUCCESS!

Fully knowing however that the Commission would meet with pressure from the Department of Education, they prepared for next meeting.

Sadly at that next meeting the Commissioners (with only 5 of the 10 present) voted 3-2 to approve the list of books. The books are now being sent out to over 95 school districts in Tennessee who will be tasked with the daunting responsibility of selecting from these books, or having to file a waiver with the state and go find their own.

The group was then instrumental in convincing some of their conservative state legislators to call a special hearing of their Senate Education Committee to address the textbooks. Both Lisa and Jackie along with several others from their group testified at these hearings.

The response from that Senate committee was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging. The Senators were shocked and appalled at the evidence presented to them and have made a firm commitment to disband the useless Textbook Commission and start from scratch.

Unfortunately the Senate Committee was not able to stop these books from being sent on to the local level for selection. The Chairwoman of that Committee has however sent a very strong letter to the DOE stressing they need to stop the books and start over.

These ACT! ladies continue to aggressively fight this battle, they have formed a group called The Textbook Advocates, and in addition to the interactive book reviewer site they pulled together (BaseCamp) this summer, they now also have a website  (www.textbookadvocates.com), and have created a publication called The Textbook Tattler which was devised to spread the word to unknowing, asleep at the wheel parents and teachers throughout the state; they are creating county teams to address the issue directly with their own school boards to try to stop these books. They are speaking ACT!, Tea Party and other conservative groups throughout the state to help garner more support.

Until next time,

Burkasrugly

Faith Behind Bars: Inmates Find Islam While Incarcerated

By Zaid Shakur, Staff Writer Darulkautsar.net

excerpt..

"Islam is a serious business for him. Abdullah accepted Islam five years ago while incarcerated in a California penitentiary, and he has practiced with mercurial zeal ever since.

He is just one of the estimated 30,000 inmates who embrace Islam every year from behind the bars of federal, state and local prison and jail cells in the United States."

"The United States Senate Judiciary Committee has published findings that indicate approximately 350,000 Muslims are currently in federal, state prisons and local jails. This means that about 5 percent of all Muslims in America are locked up in penitentiaries and that more than 10 percent of the more than 2 million U.S. prison population are Muslims. The great majority of these inmates came into prison as non-Muslims but then converted.

Da'wah in prisons is so strong that out of all inmates who seek religion while incarcerated, 80 percent of them select Islam. It is an oft-repeated mantra that Islam is the fastest growing religion in America, and these statistics from the correctional industry indicate that prison conversion is the major contributing factor to this phenomenal growth"

Fwd: There are no good Taliban and bad Taliban

There are no good Taliban and bad Taliban: Condoleezza Rice

As the US and the international community prepare to scale down their military involvement in Afghanistan in 2014 and the Obama administration seeks talks with the Taliban to stabilize the war-torn country, former US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice has voiced doubts about the readiness of the group to join a reconciliation process. In an interview, Rice said she was "sceptical whether the Taliban can be brought into a peace process". Rice, currently a professor of political science at Stanford University, was in New Delhi last week for the 11th Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Edited excerpts:

This is a critical time for the US in Afghanistan in the context of the transition in 2014. How do you see US-Afghanistan and US-Pakistan relations against the backdrop of this?

The US-Afghan relations is difficult because it is a difficult set of circumstances. It's a relationship of partnership first of all. We have had to do a whole lot of hard things in Afghanistan. We had an apology from our military for innocent civilian deaths in Afghanistan. It's not like the American military would have it that way, but unfortunately it happens. We have pressed the Afghans on the drug trade, we have pressed them on corruption, sometimes the relationship can be difficult, but I think it's a long-term relationship and we will remain engaged there. I hope we will keep a military presence there. I think that would help. But we are in this relationship for the long term. We are not going to leave like we did after the Soviet Union was defeated there (in 1989), leaving then the kind of chaos that led to the Taliban and ultimately the Al Qaeda setting up home base there. With Pakistan again, it's not easy. It takes patience on our part just as it takes patience on the part of India.

If you were secretary of state, would you have thought of opening a line of communication with the Taliban given what happened on 9/11?

I guess you have to think about it and I am not on the inside, and I am always careful because I know that you don't always know all of the factors (involved). I think you have to be extremely careful. I don't think there are good Taliban and bad Taliban. I don't think there are Taliban who are in favour of the stability of Afghanistan. And so I am sceptical whether the Taliban can be brought into a peace process. Eventually there will have to be reconciliation of the Afghan people and I don't doubt there are some who were Afghan people who fought on the wrong side. Everybody has to have reconciliation at some point. But people have to be ready for reconciliation and I don't know the degree to which the Taliban is ready for reconciliation.

There was this recent agreement between the international community and Iran on its controversial nuclear programme. What are the opportunities that this deal throws up for the US in Afghanistan for example?

Well I don't know if it would open up opportunities in the geo-strategic issues. It seems sometimes to me that the Iranian government is in two minds—it wants to have a nuclear deal and it wants to have better relations with the United States, and it wants to reshape the Middle East in ways that are antithetical to our interests and I don't see that changing, frankly, in the short term. Now it may be on Afghanistan because to a certain extent terrorism in Afghanistan is a problem for the Iranians; there would be some small opening there. But I would not generalize from what happens in the nuclear deal to a stronger, better relationship with the Iranians. I think that takes work on other kinds of issues like Iran's interference in the Persian Gulf.

So Pakistan will still have primacy in any Afghan calculations?

Pakistan has to be part of the calculations. Instability in Pakistan is a problem for Afghanistan and instability in Afghanistan is a problem for Pakistan. So those two are forever linked in that way. And I do hope that the Pakistanis will recognize that the Taliban in Pakistan is a real problem for Pakistan, not just for Afghanistan. As long as you have extremism in Pakistan, Pakistan will be a large part of the equation. You will have to pay a lot of attention to it.

What is your opinion of the interim deal on Iran's nuclear programme? Your allies in the region Saudi Arabia and Israel are uncomfortable with it.

Everyone knows there are many people who would like to do commerce with Iran, and I think that is what worries people. The first thing to remember is that even if there were to be a final nuclear deal, Iran is still a problem in international politics. The reason we don't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon is that Iran with a nuclear weapon would be even more dangerous than Iran today. Iran is very dangerous today, it is trying to destabilize the region, the Hezbollah is involved in Syria and so I would say to the administration and to the allies we have to make sure that Iran's behaviour is really understood to be dangerous behaviour. If we only make this about the nuclear deal (and) then start to embrace the Iranians, then we make a very big mistake.

Your last visit to India was immediately after the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and during your visit you advised patience while dealing with Pakistan. Five years since, India has had no closure in the case. Would you still counsel patience?

I think India has dealt with the relationship responsibly and with restraint. I understand the anger that was brought upon the Indian people after Mumbai and it had been building all the way back from the attack on the Indian Parliament (13 December 2001), and so I understand that anger. But Pakistan is a complicated place. There are so many Pakistanis who don't like extremism in their country and want to see it rooted out. But there are some deep elements of extremism and some of its institutions, and it takes time to turn that around and it's not going to happen that easily. And so I would still caution patience, because there isn't another option. It isn't something that can be dealt with through hot conflict between India and Pakistan, it has to take patience, it takes trying to do something with Kashmir and the Line of Control (LoC).

I think India has properly set this as a condition that there should be peace along the LoC. That takes work on both sides. So I think I would, even five years hence, counsel patience.

Recently, the Chinese announced an air defence identification zone, which has ruffled a lot of feathers in the region. What role do you see for Japan in settling the tensions in the region?

One thing that I understand is that the India-Japan relationship is getting closer. It is very important. Japan is also one of the democratic pillars of a peaceful Asia. It has a lot of history that it has to deal with as well with its neighbours. But I don't really understand why the Chinese have done this. It seems to needlessly provoke, it seems to needlessly worry people in the region. If it were actually carried out, it would be potentially quite dangerous for some kind of accident. So I would hope this is something that the Chinese government will believe in reconsidering.

There used to be a line of thinking about forming an "axis of democracies" in the region. Is that idea applicable in this current context?

I think the reality is that it is there, I don't think you need to call it anything. It's not perfect, Japan and South Korea have particularly good relations these days. But I have no doubt that the democracies in this region will find areas of cooperation and maybe we would be better off not to name it.

There is also a worry that the US may not pay attention to the Middle East given that its energy dependence on the region will lessen given the discoveries of shale gas in the US and neighbouring countries.

Well when I go around the United States, one of the questions I am asked is that if we are energy independent, do we have to worry about the Middles East? And so it is an important question. I think that the Americans can be convinced that even if the North American platform—the US, Canada, Mexico—provides energy supply that would effectively supply our needs, we still are the largest global economy and we have to worry about energy supply for others.

We need an Indian economy that is growing, we need a Chinese economy that is growing. So we will still be in a position of having to protect sea lanes, we will still be in a position to have to secure stability in the region so that the energy supply can be stable, so I don't think it lets us turn a blind eye to what is happening in the Middle East and that is a case that will have to be made to the American people, it's a case that can be made.

Even if we wanted to, I don't think we could. I know there are a lot of people who would like to. They see a Middle East in turmoil and they say haven't we done enough. But even if few wanted to disengage, we can't. There is the matter of reliable energy supply for the global economy and there is a matter of terrorism. If one looks at North Africa and the areas just around the Middle East, terrorism is going to be a threat to us for a long time. We are going to have to remain engaged in the Middle East for a long time.

Fwd: Diane Feinstein Says the Unsayable

Diane Feinstein Says the Unsayable

by FRANK J. GAFFNEY, JR. December 11, 2013

Yesterday was a red letter day - or perhaps it should be called an Islamic green letter one - for U.S. intelligence.  For the first time I can recall, the top legislator on a congressional oversight committee has actually made clear what motivates our enemies in what used to be called euphemistically the "War on Terror," and that Team Obama now dubs even more opaquely as the effort to "counter violent extremism."

This breakthrough came in the course of a joint appearance on CNN's "State of the Union" by the chairpersons of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), respectively. The media seized on the ostensibly big news out of their remarks: bipartisan agreement that the United States is at greater risk of terrorist attack today than two years ago.

But important, ominous and accurate as that assessment is, it wasn't the most important point made by these two respected lawmakers. Instead, it was Sen. Feinstein's observation in response to a question about what causes the "hatred" that makes our situation more perilous:

"There is a real displaced aggression in this very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community, and that is that the West is responsible for everything that goes wrong and that the only thing that's going to solve this is Islamic shariah law."

What makes this incontrovertible statement so noteworthy?  It is the fact that the intelligence community is not allowed to say what Sen. Feinstein did.  Under Obama administration guidelines, for intelligence officers - and for that matter, law enforcement, Homeland Security and military personnel - to talk about Islamic jihadism and shariah as the motivation for terrorism can be a career-ending offense.

For example, on May 10, 2012, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, used a press conference to denounce a highly decorated and up-and-coming Army officer, Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Dooley, for teaching an elective course at the Joint Forces Staff College using an approved curriculum.  According to Gen. Dempsey, what prompted this extraordinary action was that a student - who it turns out had not actually been enrolled in Col. Dooley's class - "was concerned that the course was objectionable and that it was counter to our values...our appreciation for religious freedom and cultural awareness. And the young man who brought it to my attention was absolutely right. It's totally objectionable."

At the core of what was so "totally objectionable" is the fact that students were exposed to information that made plain the gravity of the threat of which Sen. Feinstein warned: the supremacist, totalitarian Islamic doctrine of shariah and the jihad or holy war it obliges adherents to perform.  Col. Dooley's promising career was cut short and the files of his institution and that of the rest of the national security community have been purged of all such information deemed by unidentified subject matters experts engaged for the purpose to be "counter to our values."

Sen. Feinstein's forthright declaration is particularly gratifying as I had an opportunity to discuss the danger posed by shariah with her in the course of testimony I provided the Senate Judiciary Committee on July 24, 2013 at the invitation of her colleague, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).  In the course of making the case for keeping the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay open, I observed:

"We have been obliged to go to war because it was thrust upon us. And, if we are to prevail in this conflict, we must understand the nature of the enemies with whom we are at war. They are shariah-adherent jihadists who believe, in accordance with that doctrine, that it is God's will that they destroy our way of life and subjugate us to theirs."

At the time, Sen. Feinstein strongly disagreed with my view that shariah's dictates make it impossible safely to release its adherents from Gitmo or, alternatively, to incarcerate them instead in this country - where they might exploit rights foolishly conferred upon them to secure their freedom and wage jihad here.  I hope that the clarity she expressed Sunday about the inexorable nature of the shariah doctrine and the supremacist hatred it impels will cause the senior senator from California both to insist that such insights are once again inculcated in those responsible for our security and to reconsider her support for closing Guantanamo Bay.

Fwd: Obama Traitorously Reinvigorates the Muslim Brotherhood in America

http://www.rightsidenews.com/2013121133586/us/islam-in-america/obama-reinvigorates-the-muslim-brotherhood-in-america.html

Obama Reinvigorates the Muslim Brotherhood in America

11 December 2013 04:31

Written by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Sami Al-Arian

Under the Obama Administration, the Muslim Brotherhood has found a loving home in our White House. The Islamic terror organization is bent on bringing back a worldwide Caliphate and imposing Sharia Law on everyone, everywhere.

Leading a new campaign pushing the Brotherhood here in the US, is former professor at the University of South Florida, Sami Al-Arian. U.S. Muslim Representative Andre Carson, D-Ohio made the reservations for the get-together that Al-Arian and other speakers attended. The event was labeled as 'moderate.'

A briefing recently took place on Capitol Hill, replete with pro-jihadist organizers such as Obama advisor Dalia Mogahed and Mohamed Elmasry of the Canadian Islamic Congress. Elmasry is blatant about his hatred for Jews and his intent to kill them. He believes any Jew over the age of 17 is a terrorist target because they are not innocent. He is a supporter of Hamas and a friend to Iran.

Leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad

Sami Al-Arian is notable because he was the North American head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. He has been very active in the Islamic Society of North America (Co-Founder), the American Muslim Alliance and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. A 50-count indictment against Al-Arian and six others in Tampa, Florida, who were believed to be fellow leaders of PIJ, was handed down in February of 2003. His case is on hold and Judge Leonie Brinkema issued an unsolicited order that significantly reduced restrictions on Al-Arian's activities, basically allowing him to roam and act at will. He has been under FBI scrutiny since 1996.

He is now resurfacing here in America to push for the restoration of power of the Brotherhood in Egypt:

A new group advocating for the restoration of Muslim Brotherhood power in Egypt held a briefing on Capitol Hill Thursday. It is part of a series of events calling for "restoring democracy to Egypt."

But like similar efforts before it, the push by the newly-established Egypt Freedom Foundation involves people with ties to Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the United States. And, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned that the event also attracted Sami Al-Arian to the Cannon Office Building on Capitol Hill. Al-Arian is a convicted terrorist-supporting felon who is still under a separate indictment for criminal contempt. Both cases involve his work with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a terrorist group for which Al-Arian served as a board member.

He did not speak during Thursday's briefing, or at a follow-up event at a northern Virginia community college Friday night. But his presence, and his connections to the organizers, indicate that he may be more than a spectator.

At the two events, criticism was leveled at the Egyptian military for removing Morsi from office. The number of original protestors in Egypt marching against Morsi was estimated at 30 million. Egypt has a population of 80 million. This statistic was denied by the speakers and it was asserted that the Brotherhood is popular with the people of Egypt, regardless of the facts. Both events were sponsored by the Egypt Freedom Foundation. The new Foundation has one officer, who was a chapter director for CAIR.

A Member of the Muslim Brotherhood

Al-Arian has acknowledged his past membership in the Muslim Brotherhood. Al-Arian and the Egypt Freedom Foundation are lobbying the Senate and House to get Morsi's removal reversed. This same Foundation blames the "pro-Israel lobby" for an aggressive push in favor of the military's action which included portraying a Muslim Brotherhood-controlled Egypt as a potential new theocracy like Iran. The Egypt Freedom Foundation seems to also be responsible for inviting a member of Egypt's Nazi Party to a recent Georgetown University event on Egypt and democracy. There was a loud outcry over this and the invitation has since been rescinded and the event postponed.

From Atlas Shrugs:

The Egypt Freedom Foundation attracted about 30 people to a follow-up event Friday at Nova Community College in Annandale, Va. Yet another session was held Sunday at the Mosque Foundation outside of Chicago. The mosque that raised $50,000 for Al-Arian's defense in 2004 was described by the Chicago Tribune as home to leaders "who have condemned Western culture, praised Palestinian suicide bombers and encouraged members to view society in stark terms: Muslims against the world."

Imam Kifah Mustapha was a paid fundraiser for the Hamas-support network described earlier, and Imam Jamal Said was named by prosecutors as a member of the network, which was known as the Palestine Committee.

The event featured Tariq Ramadan, an Islamist intellectual and the grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna.

The Mosque Foundation program is co-sponsored by the Muslim American Society (MAS) chapter in Chicago. MAS has been identified as the Muslim Brotherhood's overt arm in America, a connection confirmed by Aburrahman Alamoudi – once one of the nation's most influential Islamists – in a statement to federal investigators.

Large donations have been gathered for the Egyptian campaign. When a group engages in political activities within the US, such as meeting with members of Congress to lobby them on behalf of a cause or position for a foreign organization such as the Muslim Brotherhood, it is required that the organization in question register with the Attorney General under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. There is no record of the Egypt Freedom Foundation every doing so. But with the help of the Obama Administration, Sami Al-Arian and others are definitely reinvigorating the Muslim Brotherhood in America and increasing their presence, power and reach.
